SHIPPING RATES AND ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
Thank you for shopping at www.thecontractfabricshop.com! We strive to provide you with the best online shopping experience for all your fabric needs. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to shipping and delivery of products from our website

ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
Orders placed on our website are typically processed within 24 hours and shipping is usually within 1-2 working days.
Please note that processing time may be longer during peak seasons (Oct – Dec) or due to unforeseen circumstances.

SHIPPING RATES
We offer various shipping methods to ensure convenience and flexibility. Our preferred shipping carrier is DPD for Ireland and Europe and DX for the UK. Carriage rates will be displayed at the checkout based on your location and order dimensions. Please note that all faux leather orders are wrapped on a cardboard core and transported as freight. Faux leather cannot be folded as this results in creases which can be hard to remove.

DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery time varies depending on the shipping method selected and the destination. Once your order is processed, shipping then takes 2-3 working days depending on your location. Please note that these are estimated times and actual delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances or delays incurred by the shipping carrier.

ORDER TRACKING
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing tracking information. You can use the provided tracking number
to track the status of your shipment on the carrier’s website.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES
For UK and International orders, please note that customs fees, import duties, and taxes are included in the price of our fabric. Any additional charges related to customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. We recommend contacting your local customs office for more information on potential fees or taxes before placing an order.

SUSTAINABILITY
Here at The Contract Fabric Company, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact. That’s why we strive to use eco-friendly packaging materials whenever possible. Many of our packaging materials are made from recycled or biodegradable materials, and we avoid excessive packaging to minimize waste. Our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials.. We encourage you to recycle or reuse the packaging materials you receive from us.

ADDRESS ACCURACY:
Please ensure that the shipping address provided during checkout is accurate and complete. We are not responsible for any delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

FABRIC SUITABILITY & RETURNS
The customer is responsible for her/his own choice of fabric in terms of measurements, quality, colour, design and suitability. Please take time to consider your requirements and we strongly advise you to avail of our fabric sampling service if you are unsure of the suitability of your fabric choice. We recommend that you order all fabric required at the same time as there may be slight colour variations between differently dated consignments.

Once your fabric has been cut to your specific measurements, unfortunately and with regret, no returns can be entertained, and no refunds will be issued due to a change of mind or if the fabric you have chosen is not suitable for your project. Fabric cut to specific measurements is classed as a “customised” product under EU and UK Law and means that it is not subject to standard returns policy.

ORDER MISTAKES OR DAMAGED ITEMS
All our fabrics are cut to your specific measurement and quality checked before dispatch. Upon receipt of your order, and before cutting into the fabric or altering it in any way, please ensure that you are totally satisfied with the items you have received and that they are the correct measurement and free of any damage.
If we have made a mistake with your order or your item is damage in any way, and you would like a refund you must notify us via email within 7 days of receiving your order.

In the event that a fault is discovered by you, please email us immediately with a photograph of the damage to info@thefabriccounter.ie It
is important that you include your email address along with your order reference number, a description of the problem and your contact number. We will respond to you quickly and efficiently to arrange the return of your purchase for our examination.

Should any fault on our part be established, a replacement or full refund will be offered. In this instance your postage cost will also be reimbursed.

All Irish and European return items should be sent in their original condition and within 14 days to: Chieftain Fabrics Limited, Wellington Place, Trim, County Meath C15 W248 and for UK returns Chieftain Fabrics Limited, City West Transport, 6-11 Chancellor’s Road, BT35 8PR

UNDELIVERED PACKAGES
If your order has not been delivered, we recommend that you contact the courier company directly with your tracking details that you received with your shipping confirmation. If the courier company cannot locate your package we will escalate the issue directly with the courier company

If you have not received your goods within 1 week of receiving a shipping confirmation email please contact us immediately.

In the event that your order has been lost in transit we can re-dispatch your order upon receiving a confirmation from the courier that the parcel has been lost in transit or has not been signed for.

If you contact us after 30 days of your order been shipped claiming that the order was not received unfortunately we will not be in a position to issue a refund or reship your order.
